The re-envisioning of the new Uncle Clay’s House of Pure Aloha in Aina Haina was an opportunity to brand the company and assist with crafting the store design to ultimately offer a powerful visitor experience. The logo for this crowdfunded social entrepreneurship marries the company’s community based mission with its unique revamped featured product shave ice featuring all natural syrups. The concept for their CD design was to showcase the band among mangoes in an urban residential Honolulu; it’s the everyday honolulu that we know and love. Though their music is classic 1970’s Hawaiian-inspired, a traditional “Hawaiian CD cover” just wouldn’t match them or be appropriately matched to their music. We designed the brand identity, the website, and also collaborated on designing the app’s user interface.
