Monday, December 20, 2010. This event in town instantly made me think of the children in our home who are positive. I couldn’t imagine where they would be if we weren’t supplying them with the medical care that are receiving. I find it hard to think about. “Children burdened by this disease at birth, how is that fair? 8221; was my immediate reaction. Saturday, November 20, 2010. As a way to celebrate such an occasion I decided to splurge about three dollars on cookies or “biscuits” for the kids. There is this very simple yet perfect shop next door that sells only the most important items, eggs, biscuits, and Fanta sodas. Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies. My brownies - don't you just want to take a bite? As far as baked goods are concerned, cookies are far and beyond my favorite. I almost always choose to bake cookies over any other sweet, but as I grocery shopped with my older sister yesterday I spotted a tiny package of brownies that practically had me drooling. It's safe to say I have been. Blessed with a full head of hair. I've always been a fan of headbands as they cover my hair if I decide to go a day without washing it. They're an accessory that tricks the world into thinking you've made an effort, but usually they're a girl's way of covering up her messy/dirty hair. It's turban inspired - how perfect? No joke, I NEED to get my hands on one of these. Headwraps have been around for a few years (WhoWhatWear did a piece about them in 2007 which can be read here.
