Wednesday, May 19, 2010. I took a break this evening from stock images and focused on experimental work. Last week some fire moth members and other fire enthusiasts got together for a late night burn. I took some high iso motion shots for fun. Sunday, March 28, 2010. The overcast spring weather inspired me last week to re-visit my cloud series I started last summer in Vancouver. I focused on the hard sterile edges of the downtown skyscrapers to create patterns and shapes. I used the mundane everyday city subjects to paint my pattern and lines. Saturday, July 10, 2010. I have added a new section to my website ( kevinsu.com. This is a body of fine art work that I have been working on for the past year. The technique is overlaying or "mashing up" several of my own original images to create a completely unique image. This resembles the process of collage and painting in a digital format.
