My travels and other tid-bits. September 15, 2011. From La Paz we flew to Rurrenabaque to the jungle for 4 days. The sun came out for the first time in 2 weeks the day we got there, so we were really lucky. It wasn t balmy like I was expecting, and there were hardly any mosquitos! Saw lots of animals and got back to nature. Considering a career in wildlife photgraphy after this trip. The only downer was the 2 hour dust-filled jeep ride to get the the start of the river. Arriving at the start of the river.
