Joy in the Journey. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. We only had to endure sleeping in such close quarters for 2 nights. I don't know how the pioneers did it. It was so small, no wonder they spent so much time outside, nothing to do inside I guess. This is Leah's and Katelyn's sleeping domain. Of course B man had to be on top and Sydney didn't care, so she took bottom. One side of the cabin: tv, fridge on the left, bed in the middle and bathroom on the right. Modern Nauvoo main street. Relief Society was born.

We are happy to be swimming at least 2-3 times a week at a friends community pool. Helps us feel like we are back in Florida, and the kids swimming skills have improved. Joy in the Journey. Friday, October 18, 2013. Our June was packed with fun! Happy Birthday to me! Sydney made my cakes all by herself, and then we had homemade strawberry ice-cream with the ice-cream maker I got for my birthday. Yummmm. Steve took Sydney on a special little fishing outing just the two of them, and taught her how to fly fish. They were both very excited! Hmmm not sure if i like this. Yep, I guess it's ok. The arts and crafts/ recycle room. Hence the doctor pics with crazy face paint).

Joy in the Journey. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. For normal life again. Our little pet turtle we had for 2 days. He was so cute and the smallest turtle I've ever seen. We named him Dito, because when Katelyn says "turtle" it sounds like "dito". We found him in the wild on an outing to a nearby lake and we returned him there because we were headed to UT for 3 weeks and didn't want to find a dead turtle in our house when we returned. Some of our fun cousins that we saw along the way. I will never forget them.

B T M K B-4-EVER. Thursday, December 11, 2014. Why is life like that? I don't have an answer. All I can say is that it's so annoying. We didn't leave our house until 4:30. We were able to make good time and got to their house at 11:00. We called to tell them that we had left late and were told that two of their kids were sick. We were already packed, in the car and eating the Little Caesars we had just gotten for dinner. Can we talk about that for a minute? I love that they have pizza for five bucks!

Just the Three of Us. Saturday, December 29, 2012. Our sweet baby girl finally came! Samantha Gwen was born on Dec 20th at 2:33am. She weighed 7pounds 7ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. My water "accidentally" broke when I went to my appointment on the 19th. I went down stairs to Labor and Delivery and they got things started. Labor was way different than I thought it would be and I'll just say I'm a fan of having a epidural. :). I never knew I could love him more than I already did!
