Thompsons

Thursday, July 30, 2015. July has been full of lots of fun moments. Here are a few:. We took full advantage of free Chick-Fil-A day - I spent some time working on our costumes (and even made masks for the sister missionaries, who were having dinner with us that night). I thought they turned out pretty cute. We can't pass up free dinner at one of our favorite places! Mommy Cow with her calves. The kids, so proud of the finished product. He's doing well now! Thompsons: April 2014

http://www.steveandsarathompson.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Maybe one day I won't spend my time re-cappping :) Here's our March:. Ellie's bed - I think he's pretty excited for when it's his turn in a "big bed".soon enough little man; soon enough. Picnic on Black Bob Island. Hunter's favorite thing to do at a park. Nothing cuter than a sleeping toddler. On a relatively warm day - the kids love playing together in the backyard. Handsome boy at church. Playing princess dress-up with friends. We make such cute babies. Why stop at just two?

Thompsons: SNCP Reunion

http://www.steveandsarathompson.blogspot.com/2015/07/sncp-reunion.html

Tuesday, July 14, 2015. For the SNCP reunion, we took a trip to Sturgis, South Dakota. Some of the highlights included:. Meeting up with the Wuehlers in Sioux Falls to caravan the rest of the way together. The kids (and adults) had great fun switching up cars (I spent most of the drive with Danika in her car, her husband Brent drove with Steve in our van, and our kids swapped back and forth between cars at every stop). Bear Country USA: My kids are still. We finally convinced her these are different.

Wednesday, July 29, 2015. This year we hosted the Thompson Family Reunion. The official reunion was two-three days long, but we were able to spend a whole week with different siblings, nieces and nephews. The weekend prior to the reunion was Independence Day. For the first time in three years, we took our kids to see the fireworks. The week of the reunion, we did all sorts of fun and wonderful things. Here are some pictures to prove it:. Ellie and her BFF cousins. Lots of swimming and water parks.

Thompsons: October 2014

http://www.steveandsarathompson.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Friday, October 31, 2014. Two weeks ago, Steve took his paternity leave. It was a stay-cation of sorts. We made a massive to-do list, (odd jobs around the house, errands, and fun family activities) and we worked our way through the list. One thing we did (multiple times) was visit local pumpkin patches! My favorite time of the year! Wednesday, October 15, 2014. This is how our other kids get to watch Dallas in the baby swing - from a few feet away. Sunday, October 12, 2014. Friday, October 10, 2014.

Kate and Blair: August 2010

http://kateandblair.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, August 29, 2010. Ella turned two in July! We knew she and I were going to be in Idaho without Blair on her actual birthday (during my trip out west to defend my thesis) so we had a little family celebration 2 weeks before her actual birthday. She didn't know the difference- she was just thrilled to have cupcakes! How old are you? She made off with some fun new toys: a dress up petticoat skirt, sunglasses, a box for sorting wooden shapes, and some blocks for stacking (and pushing over! Here's a fa...

Kate and Blair: Family of Four

http://kateandblair.blogspot.com/2013/02/family-of-four.html

Sunday, February 10, 2013. We are now a family of four! On November 9, Henry Blair was born at 10:24 am. He weighed 7 lbs, 1 oz and was 20.5 inches long. I could not have asked for a better birth! For my own benefit, I'll write a little about the birth here. If you don't enjoy reading birth stories, skip ahead and just look at the pictures. Consider yourself warned! On the way home we stopped by Five Guys and Blair ran in to get some burgers to take home and eat. Best post-birth meal ever. Henry is a cal...

Sunday, March 14, 2010. Adventures in Potty Training. Week 1 (7 mos old). Week 2 (7 mos old). After 1 month (8 mos old). After 2-3 months (9-10 mos old). Ella started peeing less in her diaper and more in the potty. This translated into big savings on diapers for us. By the time she was 10 months old we were down to using 2-3 diapers a day (including one at night! Holding Pattern (10 mos-18 mos old). At 18 months old. Night Time and Sleeping. Was it Worth it? Here are the advantages. Huge $ $ Savings.

Baby, I love you. Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Pismo Beach and All the Clams You Can Eat! Years ago when Bryan and Becca were getting married, Trevor passed Pismo Beach with his family and suddenly he and Jeremy, in unison, quoted,. Pismo Beach and all the clams you can eat! Apparently they have a better memory of the adventures of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck than I do. Anyhow, we had to do just that. So we found a little cafe and got our yummy clam chowder and fish and chips. It was fun!
