Sierra Life.Livin it. Monday, December 29, 2008. Jacob and the Giant Beach. My son decided he wanted to put his feet in the sand. As usual mommy and I let him dictate things so we dragged ourselves down to the beach and enjoyed the perfect weather, view, and Kaylani O.J. I think S.J. likes the beach so I wonder if it's a sign of things to come. Maybe we'll have him surfing by 1st grade? Does that mean we'll have to teach him to swim? Hopefully Uncle Aron will be willing to teach him the surfing thing?

Its good to be 'quirky'. Wednesday, August 5, 2009. I found myself commenting on everything. From how warm it felt in the room to "can't believe they won't take these perfectly good markers." The woman in charge (whose done this for the past 8 years and is a retired teacher) explained that the supplies need to be EXACTLY what is on the supply list otherwise they are labeled as "weird".
