Whole30 Week 2 - Stirring Stew

http://www.stirringstew.com/whole30-week-2

Bite by bite. recipes and skills from our family. January 23, 2015. This post is a little tardy but here is a quick summary of what we ate during Whole30 Week 2. This time things have been much easier and we are definitely branching out more and having fun with new sauces like the Whole30 mayonnaise. Let’s get started…. Breakfast Scrambled backyard-fresh eggs with parsley and onions, half a mango and bacon. Snack Hand full of almonds. And sweet potato fries with a garlic aioli. Snack Ramekin of mixed nuts.

Date Syrup Bourbon Old Fashioned - Stirring Stew

http://www.stirringstew.com/date-syrup-bourbon-old-fashioned

Bite by bite. recipes and skills from our family. Date Syrup Bourbon Old Fashioned. January 4, 2015. Bourbon is a favorite of mine. Forgive me as I will probably start every post whose recipe contains bourbon, in any amount, that same way. I like it best with just a few ice cubes. Date Syrup Bourbon Old Fashioned. 25 ounces of bourbon. Thanks so much f...

http://www.stirringstew.com/happy-whole30

Bite by bite. recipes and skills from our family. January 2, 2015. Hope you had a wonderful end of 2014. We had a great night celebrating at our home with goods friends and enjoying quiet a feast of wonderful treats and homemade eggnog. And the kids had a blast with sparklers. This picture was taken on my phone so it doesn’t do it justice. The flavors on this plate were out of this world and hopefully will lead to lots of luck and goodness throughout the coming year. Day 1 – complete! Chris and I have so...

July 17, 2012 · 11:41 pm. Rewriting Sorkin, or An Experiment in How to Write a Sexy Scene about Gun Control. I used to love Aaron Sorkin. Then I grew up, and he didn’t. No, really. Early Aaron Sorkin was great, or at the very least, new. I adored. Was painfully bad — bad casting, bad timing, and a thoroughly misguided vision of what was actually working on the show (I was not alone in thinking SlimyCorporateExecutive! Then I read that there’s a scene in episode 4. That goes like this:. Aims gun at Will.

Stirring Success

A blog for the amateur cook, just for fun! Saturday, 20 November 2010. This morning the youngest child wanted to make a "big, stacked up cake" so we decided to go for a 4 layer chocolate chequers cake. Usually this is made by making one chocolate and one vanilla sponge cake but on this occasion purple was required and 4 layers! So we made 2 chocolate sponges and 2 purple ones. It just looks like a large chocolate cake until you cut into it. Now to find a tin tall enough to keep it in. Who clearly has too...
