The only special tools you’ll need are two safety pins (coilless is best) or two locking stitch markers. You don’t want to use an...Next, keeping...

Items View Cart →. Simple top-down knitting patterns in a wide range of sizes. Anatomy of a Top-Down Set-In Sleeve Sweater. In most top-down set-in-sleeve patterns, you will begin by casting on stitches for the back of the sweater. If there won’t be any back neck shaping, then you will cast on all the stitches that you will need for the crossback (the total width of the back at the shoulders), which includes both shoulders and the neck. At this point, it doesn’t really matter whether you are workin...

At one point, the Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival was held there. I tried to convince them that my very woolly Standard Poodles were actually sheep so I could bring them with me, but no luck. This sweater is the perfect après-anything pullover, that will keep you toasty warm and comfortable while you relax with a good book (or dog) by the fire. There are no reviews yet.

The Adventures of Traveling Ann: Faux Foot!
http://travelingann.blogspot.com/2015/05/faux-foot.html
Sunday, May 24, 2015. Inspired by the wooden foot form I saw at Abeja in Washington state and the idea of a custom dress form made with an old t-shirt and duct tape, I decided to try to use the idea to make a foot. Mom bought me a few designs from which to select. Originally I wanted houndstooth, but when she saw all the choices I couldn't make up my mind. In the end, we decided the argyle was the most appropriate. Layers were carefully added in small sections to conform to the shape of my foot. I'll pro...

The Adventures of Traveling Ann: November 2012
http://travelingann.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 1, 2012. Patterns of Behavior Sweater. At the beginning of the year I was on a kick to knit with the various beautiful yarns. I've been acquiring over the years. What was the point in having them tucked away in the dining room credenza if I wasn't going to actively enjoy them? This plan was working well until two things happened.
