Stitching Hands and Happy Hearts
Stitching Hands and Happy Hearts. Wednesday, February 22, 2012. It's Been A while. My husband decided he wanted to raise honey bees. We started learning all we could and then jumped in. We have 9 hives now and in spite of the dry weather last year we managed to harvest a small amount of honey. This spring we've had plenty of rain and everything is blooming so we are hopeful of having a good year and getting lots of honey. Posted by no one here. Thursday, October 16, 2008. I looked around admiring her sho...

Having said that, I've been none stop crocheting. So I have lots to show you :). This was so much fun and was a pram/buggy size so didn't take long. Tuesday, 18 August 2015. We decided that our meeting last week would be a sorting and organising day. You will all know the feeling of cupboards and boxes stuffed to overflowing so much so that you can't find anything. More news is that at the next meeting, a representative from the Inner Wheel, an International Service Organisation for Women, will come for a visit. This organisation is looking to support our group in some way. These are the completed quilts which came in this time. Robin. We met last we...

Talking about the stitches and possibly other things in my life, nestled in my my home. Monday, May 18, 2015. I have been keeping "Let go and let the Universe have it" on my mind. Last Tuesday I went to the yarn shop to begin winding the yarn for my healing project. Not so healing. The skein was a challenge, someone thought it had been wound by a winged monkey. It had many issues. My hills are having more meaning, more substance.Keep taking deep breaths in life, that's what I remind myself to do. A websi...

Monday, January 19, 2009. Last day of leisure! Okay, I went back to work from my looooong winter break on January 5th, and I started teaching my class on the 12th, but tomorrow MY classes start. I've been stitching up a storm the past 2 weeks because once classes start, I have no real free time and even less energy to stitch. (That's my excuse for not blogging for 2 weeks. Yeah, it's a lie- what of it? I think I'll blog about the other four pieces I worked on seperately, since Blogger seems to enjoy refo...
