We drove to Oregon last week (it was the kid's spring break from school) to see my dad so I had a TON of crochet time. 9 hours there and just about the same back. My dad lives right be the coast so I got to sit on the beach and crochet - oh, my! Andthis is the book ...

stitchin' girl: March 2013

http://stitchingirl.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html

Friday, March 15, 2013. Thank you so much everyone for your well wishes on my new art school that I posted about in my last post! It means so much to me. Everyone I know virtually and really have been so supportive, and ready with a kind word when I feel down or feel like I'm not going to be able to this whole thing fly, that it warms my heart and keeps me going. So thanks so much! I love cute baby clothes! This sweater was so easy to make up! A wee little baby sweater is born. They went so quickly!

stitchin' girl: Brand New Endeavors!!

http://stitchingirl.blogspot.com/2013/03/brand-new-endeavors.html

Wednesday, March 13, 2013. I have started my own school! I have enjoyed so much teaching knitting after school, and the demand has been so high, that I decided to open a school and teach summer camps. My own crafting has taken a back seat a little bit because this has been quite a challenge to get started. Getting the word out has been the hardest so far. But I have been working diligently on that everyday for over a month and now am about 35% full. I'm totally over the moon! Good Luck with your school!

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. I am back at working on this cross stitch Christmas stocking for my oldest child. I have been working on this on and off for quite a few years and it is time to get it DONE! Before I started stitching on it again. I always find it so hard to actually see what has been done on one of these when someone posts a picture and I am sure it is the same with my picture. BUT.ALL the cross stitches are done now. YIPEE! This puppy is just so cute! And of course, Santa! Head over to Tami's.

Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Are you sick of pictures of this project yet? I feel like I need to work on something else for awhile, but if I do, I'm afraid this will never get done! Where I'm at now - that's 106 puffs all sewn together. Somehow I thought it would be bigger than this by now :o). Don't they look so sweet together? I am also totally loving the weight of this thing. Some of the "special" ones - still trying to keep those somewhat near the middle. Sharing over at Tami's. Someone donated the...

Can't get easier than that! This isn't my favorite yarn to knit with. I find the "nubbies" get stuck and I have to give a little tug or the stitch will be too tight. But. it is very soft and will come in handy on those slightly chilly summer nights. Posted by Karen Knitting 11:02 AM. Saturday, January 06, 2007.
