Cook with Sara: Lemon Zucchini Bread
http://cookwithsara.blogspot.com/2013/08/lemon-zucchini-bread.html
Thursday, August 29, 2013. At this time of year, most people are looking for new things to do with zucchini. I don't have a garden so I'm not overrun with zucchini, but I still love using it in savory and sweet dishes alike. You won't even know that there's a vegetable in this bread! In large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder,. And salt; add lemon zest then set aside. In medium bowl or large measuring cup, lightly beat 2 eggs, then add oil, yogurt,. Buttermilk, lemon juice. Zest of 1 lemon.

Cook with Sara: Sweet Onion Jam
http://cookwithsara.blogspot.com/2015/07/sweet-onion-jam.html
Monday, July 27, 2015. Don't let the name of this distract you - a jam made from onions? This is a wonderful "condiment" - although putting it in that class makes it seem less glamorous than it deserves. We first tasted this at a restaurant as a base for fried brussels sprouts and it was AMAZING. My husband talked about it EVERY DAY until we tried to recreate it at home. This version is a bit different than our restaurant experience, but no less delicious. We loved it on steak, pork tenderloin, chicken.

Cook with Sara: Chicken and Zucchini Pasta
http://cookwithsara.blogspot.com/2009/06/chicken-and-zucchini-pasta.html
Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Chicken and Zucchini Pasta. I found this recipe last year when I needed something different to do with zucchini. I changed it quite a bit to adapt to my personal preference, and it's now one of my favorite dishes. As with other vegetable dishes, it does require a bit of chopping, but it's worth it! I am quite sure you know how to pour pasta into a pot of boiling water, but I love to take pictures.). For the sauce, saute the onions and garlic in olive oil. Tempt my Tummy Tuesday.

Cook with Sara: Balsamic and Brown Sugar Glazed Pork Tenderloin (crock pot)
http://cookwithsara.blogspot.com/2014/11/balsamic-and-brown-sugar-glazed-pork.html
Monday, November 17, 2014. Balsamic and Brown Sugar Glazed Pork Tenderloin (crock pot). This month for Secret Recipe Club. I was assigned to Veronica's Cornucopia. She has a lot of great recipes and I knew it would be hard to choose one - but as soon as I saw the recipe for balsamic and brown sugar glazed pork tenderloin. I was sold. Not only did this look super delicious and easy to put together, but it used the crock pot, one of the best inventions ever, in my humble opinion. 1 tsp rubbed sage. Center ...

Cook with Sara: Sesame Pork Tenderloin
http://cookwithsara.blogspot.com/2010/04/sesame-pork-tenderloin.html
Monday, April 12, 2010. I really love pork tenderloin. Whether you grill it. Just about anyway you slice it. It's a delicious cut of meat that does well under any preparation! This is a restaurant-quality dish that's perfect for company, or just for yourselves. And it's easy! Start by preparing the marinade. Combine the soy sauce, oil, ginger and garlic. And mix well. Place the pork in a large zip top bag, then pour the marinade over the pork. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the pork. 1/2 cup soy sauce.

Urban Dictionary /lowdown/ 1. getting the skinny or full disclosure of the situation. Oct 15, 2010. Last night at my book club (BTW, we discussed the wonderful Little Heathens. By Mildred Armstrong Kalish and I recommend it for any book club out there. It's a crowd pleaser! The discussion turned to fixing stuff and then to mechanics. Do you have a mechanic you really like? Asked one book club member. Turns out she does. What makes you like her so much? I like to support the hometown businesses. Cause tha...

Gimme the Lowdown: April 2011
http://littlefieldlowdown.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Urban Dictionary /lowdown/ 1. getting the skinny or full disclosure of the situation. Apr 22, 2011. I don't wear bikinis, never have. (Uproarious laughter ensues! I do love tankinis, however. And last summer, I had the rare experience of finding and purchasing a bathing suit I liked. I like it so much I'm already worried about making the seams and buckles and straps last. My fear of suit disintegration isn't paranoia. I wear it all the time from May - September! Or is it the mercenary bent of her jaw?

Gimme the Lowdown: March 2011

Urban Dictionary /lowdown/ 1. getting the skinny or full disclosure of the situation. Mar 17, 2011. Lip service: a story in pictures. Once upon a time, a ho-hum woman found herself in an un-plumpfortable situation, having run out of her favorite CityLips gloss wands but needing, more than ever, a shot of style. Let's not mince words - her glam was gone. See how tired she looks? From a certain C. Hubbard. The SAME C. Hubbard who had first provided her with a taste of CityLips. She held her breath! It was ...

Cook with Sara: Fruited Pork and Veggie Kebabs
http://cookwithsara.blogspot.com/2009/05/fruited-pork-and-veggie-kebabs.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Fruited Pork and Veggie Kebabs. I love making kebabs for the grill. This is a new recipe, and I thought it was a great change of pace from my usual chicken, pepper, squash combination. You'll need to plan ahead with this recipe - the meat and vegetables need to marinate for at least 8 hours or overnight. So you can assemble the parts the night before you'll cook it, or the morning of. Here's what it looks like! Whisk the marinade well to dissolve the honey. Put pork cubes in a ...
