Life's little wonders

Wednesday, 13 July 2011. Cue Rocky Theme Tune. On an "out there" whim I have decided to dedicate the next few weeks into training for the Nike Run To The Beat half marathon with my good pal Susie, or Boozy Soozy as we like to jeer on a good ol fashioned knees up. We have named ourselves Runny Bums (yummy! And will be dressing up in some kind of ridiculous attire to get people to support us while we sweat it out in Greenwich on the 25th September. Will I die, will I succeed? Thank you so much :). After be...

Life's little wonders: Gurls night out

http://stuffandtiings.blogspot.com/2011/03/gurls-night-out.html

Friday, 18 March 2011. My creative flare has returned and I'm ready and rearing to blog, boast, booze, blah and blend in with the blogging bonanza crowd (there's a crowd, swear it). So it's Friday, got that Friday feelin (cue me on a rollercoaster eating a crunchie) I have had 2 cups of tea, a buttered bun and answered approximately 6 emails. Successful? Oh, I think so. Life's little wonders: Sorry.

http://stuffandtiings.blogspot.com/2010/05/sorry.html

Tuesday, 18 May 2010. Life, work and spending has got in the way with my attempt at doing something free in London every week. I know, I know. excuses, excuses. But I thought best be honest with you rather than bask in a big fat lie. Moving forward, June is the month. Plus June is so much sunnier! June is full of so much PROMISE! June is. yeah you get the point. Anyway, cross my heart June will be FREE, feel free to 'poke' me on Facebook if not. Ouch. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I just got hitched.

Life's little wonders: October 2009

http://stuffandtiings.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Friday, 30 October 2009. After the world wide success of 'my big phat wedding blog' here comes a new, unadulterated, live new ramble of life, love, linguistics and lentils. Do sit back and enjoy. Speaking of which I made the most delicious bacon and lentil soup the other day, there's even more right here:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). If only it was this enjoyable! London, Richmond, United Kingdom. I'm at the ripe old age of twenty five discovering things I love and loathe about life on this planet.

Life's little wonders: December 2009

http://stuffandtiings.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

Saturday, 12 December 2009. I've discovered a love for folk music. I don't know where it's been hiding. perhaps in the depths of a dark cupboard of my soul that belongs to the open road of the U.S of A. It's deeply moving, eerie, humorous yet intensely depressing at times then - all of a sudden will pick you up again with a fast plucking beat reminding you life in the deep south or, erm - Twickenham - is bittersweet. There's a sincerity to it, a real struggle with God, life and most of all the ladies.

Missing my new friends. June 6, 2015. So I’ve missing my new friends who I met in Scotland (but were from all over). As a group, we were one crazy bunch! Good thing we’re all friends on facebook and can stay in touch! May 20, 2015. I had a great time in Scotland! I did a 3 day tour of the Isle of Skye and the Highlands. I meet some great people and had so much fun traveling with them. I’ll post what we did later, but here’s some pictures for now. May 15, 2015. Plus I need to get a job soon! May 15, 2015.

A Liberal Watches the GOP Debate, Objectively. I watched the GOP debate the other night. It was every bit as entertaining as I hoped. I learned a few things that I believe at least a few of you will enjoy. Let’s get a few things out of the way first. Yes, I am liberal. No I’m not close minded. I actually started to like Car...

The great PC rebuild. You can’t claim real geek cred until you’ve actually built a PC, can you? So that’s what I, with a lot of help from a friend who’s very good and patient with hardware, JB, have been doing. The specs are awesome: a shiny new Intel processor, the i7 2600K. On an Intel DP67BG. 16GB of DDR3 SDRAM from Kingston. And two SSDs (one from Intel, one from Kingston). All going into my old case from Voodoo. That I think is about three years old. All your CPUz are belong to me. When tested with ...

View my complete profile. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Well, never say that I clutter the internet with posts when I’ve got nothing to blog about. It’s been almost a year since my last update, and for those who haven’t forgotten that I’m still alive, here is a fun little tour of the northern half of the United Kingdom for you. The Walter Scott Monument, Edinburgh (with half-assembled. 2 Road markings. I know the English drive on the left, but I encountered a lot of markings I never see at home. Some ...3 The...

From the Odds and Ends of the Internet. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Day 18: The End. I thought last time was the end… I thought they had given up… Nothing is safe… I don’t suppose it ever was… …. It all started hours ago when I got to Tanlandia. There was no one there. After a while, a few locals showed up, but they left after an hour. I figured they had all given up on me. No, they were all just leaving so THEY could come. Those guys are really persistent! I’m writing more ...

Stuff and whatever... | Stuff I find interesting, or fun, or whatever…

Stuff and whatever…. Stuff I find interesting, or fun, or whatever…. A novel in progress. My life, day by day. Things I find awesome. Things I find odd. November 6, 2010. I ve created two knitting designs today, one scarf and one that is just a knitted picture with no functional purpose. The first design, The Rainbow Invader scarf, is a geeky and fun take on the LGBT rainbow. The next is a retro pixelart mario picture, both my own design from scratch.
