Through the vintage garden. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. So we got a kitten. They must have been hanging out all night becoming best friends while we were sleeping. We have been watching them so carefully, like the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. I still don't know how they ended up together since they were both closed up in seperate rooms. Through the vintage garden. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. I'm on week 3, and I already fell short of my goal.but wait- all is not lost. I had a talk with myself and said,"Get it in gear, girlfriend! Everything counts, even a one mile fast walk. It only takes 15 minutes. Commit to even just one mile a day. Get a pedometer, and clip it on your shirt. Through the vintage garden. Thursday, February 17, 2011. So, I think going from workout posts to a recipe, can't be a good thing. ha! Because my family is not feeling so great, I decided to make some comfort food. This recipe is a Tuscan white bean soup. I got it from Giada, but I've changed it to make it my own. Here it is:. 1-2 shallots, chopped. 2 tbsp. olive oil. 3 cans white beans(rinsed). 4 cups chicken broth. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 1-2 whole garlic, peeled. White pepper (to taste). Two Shades of Pink.

Through the vintage garden. Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Things you can get for a dollar! On a recent quick run into our local Dollar Tree, I was so happy to find a few cute surprises.who knew it could be so fun at the dollar store? I mean,really, how cute is this gelato lip gloss, rose covered sticky notes, and pink sewing kit? These are just too cute! I bought one for me and one for sweetie pie. She just freaked when she saw it. What is it about miniature stuff? Know what else you can get for a dollar?

Through the vintage garden. Thursday, February 4, 2010. Some really good Valentine reads. For some reason I'm in a serious book phase. I normally do read, just not so many back to back. I'm actually reading several books at one time right now. Weird. I don't know I've ever done that before. I thought I'd share some pretty good books if you're in the market for something new. I actually already finished this book. It was so good! Remember those dollar store sticky notes and tabs? Hugs and Hershey's kisses.

Through the vintage garden. Wednesday, January 12, 2011. To mix it up today (yep, I get bored fast) I decided to do the treadmill during Samantha Brown's Travel show. I really like her. She went to Bali, and talk about beautiful! Did you know you can eat 50 Rold Gold pretzels for 120 calories? I don't know about you, but that's great when you really want to have a snack attack. They were close, but not quite there. And b.) expensive as all get out! What do you think? Should I paint the base? I don't know what color I'd want it though. Suggestions? So, there you have it!
