Friday, June 21, 2013. Before we knew that we would be up to our ears in medical bills, Matt worked a couple extra shifts at work so that we could purchase a swing set for our backyard for the kids. And even though I love the swing set, that money would be nice now that we have these medical bills. Here are some pics of us playing on the set. This is my favorite pic. Look at Dan's eyes! Wednesday, September 10, 2014. I haven't gotten out very much since the babies were born, but I took a little break from the babies to take Nicole and Dano to a swim birthday party. A friend had rented an inflatable water slide. Dano and Nicole jumped right in, no fear and started playing on the thing. It is quite a testament to how far Nicole has come. She is so brave in new situations and tries new things all the time as of late. I am so proud of her. Yay for an hour out of the house! Life as We Know It.

Friday, March 22, 2013. My sweet girl is turning four, and I'm just not ready. I can't believe she is already four years old. And, at the same time, I can't imagine my life without her. I've always had her in my life right? She is my wonderful little girl, my first baby, and a joy in my life. Nicole loves to ask me questions, especially, "why? That is her favorite question. The other day, this was our conversation. Cole: Mommy, did you make me? Cole: Why did you make me? Me: Because you make me happy.

Sunday, August 25, 2013. So, we thought the drive-in might be a solution to her movie problem. She would be able to be in her comfort zone (her own car), she can wiggle and move around as much as she needs to, and she can make a little bit of noise and ask questions during the movie without bothering everyone watching the movie. Thursday, September 11, 2014. I had my friend Jasmine come and do newborn photos for the twins when they were two weeks old. I was very sick from my infections and I was still feeling awful from surgery and I was sleep deprived and weak, so I only allowed two hours for the photo shoot. Thursday, October 31, 2013. This year, we got to do Pumpkinland with Nicole's preschool class. Which means that we got in for free! It was a lot of fun going on this school field trip with Nicole and seeing how she interacts with her teachers and classmates. For those who don't know, Pumpkinland is a local Nursery that has a halloween attraction for kids complete with corn maze, animals, and lots of pumpkins. The kids love it! We go every year.
