Shane and Ryan's Story: October 2011
http://shaneandryanblog.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Shane and Ryan's Story. How this grieving mother is trying to turn these tragedies into triumphs by helping others. On February 18th, 1993 I got the call that is every mother's worst nightmare. My oldest son was shot and killed. The worst part is that he pulled the trigger. He was 17 years old. On September 22nd, 1999 his little brother (then 22) went to the cemetary where Shane's ashes are and shot himself in the head. He wanted to be with his brother- wherever that is when you kill yourself.

http://stringthingchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/12/picking-up-pace-again.html
It's a String Thing. Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Picking Up the Pace Again. Here is a top that I completed last year when we had our snow storm here in Raleigh, NC. You can link back to see the post here. I just finished quilting it and also made a super terrific monogrammed burp cloth to go along with it. This one goes to a sweet baby in the Soldier's Angeles Organization. I ♥ the backing on this one. Labels: ice blue string quilt. December 8, 2010 at 1:49 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
