A Queen among Kings: 4th of July!
http://thekegleyfamily.blogspot.com/2014/07/4th-of-july.html
Monday, July 7, 2014. I love long weekends. I know most people do. But, I love them because that means that daddy is home. And I've kind of come to the terms that daddy is pretty much "ALL THAT" right now. I've had my time in the "ALL THAT" spotlight, but Daddy is pretty much stealing the show right now. More on that in a bit! Connor thinks it's the best thing in the world. Cade is just always frustrated I make him wait to eat until I take a picture :). Connor ate.it.up! They loved the fireworks show!

Sorting More Than Laundry : An infestation that would make a good horror flick
http://cmkerwin.blogspot.com/2015/05/an-infestation-that-would-make-good.html
Sorting More Than Laundry. Thoughts from a Stay-at-home-Mother. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. An infestation that would make a good horror flick. On our walk around the neighborhood one night Madison pointed out the telephone pole in our neighbor's house that sits on the corner of our street. The neighbor's have moved to Atlanta and the house is empty. The pole sits between his house and his next door neighbor's house right next to his neighbor's palm tree. The pole was covered with grasshoppers. We decided Kel...

Sorting More Than Laundry : February 2015
http://cmkerwin.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Sorting More Than Laundry. Thoughts from a Stay-at-home-Mother. Thursday, February 26, 2015. Catch up because whoa, I've been busy. Did a mock version and sent it off today. Third client came from my soon-to-be-although-he-is-mostly-gone neighbor. He causally asked me while coming back for another load from his garage if I knew about websites. Boom! Possibly client number #3. The best part of all of it? And the kids said, "She's at work! My mother's estate is still another job I've been dealing with most...

Sorting More Than Laundry : January 2015
http://cmkerwin.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Sorting More Than Laundry. Thoughts from a Stay-at-home-Mother. Wednesday, January 28, 2015. And another cleaning post. Listen people, this is my life. I am a SAHM and that includes taking care of the house too. Yes, I'm aware that working parents take care of the cleaning, etc. too, but I this is what I do for a living, and so I'm damn well going to blog about it because what else do I have to say? That will not match any counter top in my lifetime. My friend had a fit. "What? She showed up on a Saturda...

Sorting More Than Laundry : September 2014
http://cmkerwin.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Sorting More Than Laundry. Thoughts from a Stay-at-home-Mother. Sunday, September 28, 2014. Monday Morning recap - week 4. Sigh First, let me say that I took this game as a breeze for the Steelers. Secondly, I knew, however, that the Bucs weren't as bad as they played on Thursday night. Lastly, I was concerned about this game, and rightly so, despite my breezy attitude. Terrible. That's on the coaches. That is on Tomlin. Shame on all of them. Learn the game boys! Ben Roethlisberger became only the 12th N...

Sorting More Than Laundry : Daughter successful? Check.
http://cmkerwin.blogspot.com/2015/05/daughter-successful-check.html
Sorting More Than Laundry. Thoughts from a Stay-at-home-Mother. Monday, May 18, 2015. It was a woman whose daughter was Maddy's bestie from age three to 8th grade. I hadn't seen the mother since the girls graduated middle school. I turned around and waved. She screamed. jumped up and met in the middle of our two tables. She was with another mother whose daughter is between my girls in age and so we all exchanged pleasantries and hugs. Is this all we have ladies? Our jobs will walk out the door to start t...

Sorting More Than Laundry : March 2015
http://cmkerwin.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sorting More Than Laundry. Thoughts from a Stay-at-home-Mother. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. She lives on in the plantation. In the process of showing my family around my house Jaimie, who is my number one blog reader, inquired about Connie's pineapple plants. I wandered to the end of my pool deck and pointed them out, showing her the pineapple that Tom had had made in my mom's honor. And then I turned to plant #2 and OMG! It too had a pineapple growing in the middle of its plant! Links to this post. We stay...

Sorting More Than Laundry : April 2015
http://cmkerwin.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sorting More Than Laundry. Thoughts from a Stay-at-home-Mother. Thursday, April 30, 2015. Now it is my turn. Several summers ago I visited a friend whose daughter was leaving for college in the coming weeks. One whole section of their house was literally filled from the floor to the ceiling with stuff. Stuff that she need for college. According to who? I asked this with a shocked face, open mouth as I stood looking at all of this stuff. Two years later I lived through the process again with my SIL. W...

Sorting More Than Laundry : Something had to give
http://cmkerwin.blogspot.com/2015/05/something-had-to-give.html
Sorting More Than Laundry. Thoughts from a Stay-at-home-Mother. Monday, May 11, 2015. Something had to give. The rules of proctoring are crazy. If you are the person in the room where the testing is going on, you sit in a corner watching over the test takers. If one raises his hand, you walk to him and take care of whatever he needs which mostly amounts to getting him a tissue or water or escorting him to the bathroom. Sitting in that room you may have nothing. Tom and Madison came in when I yelled. ...

A Queen among Kings: three.
http://thekegleyfamily.blogspot.com/2013/03/three.html
Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Oh, my heart. The sweet boy that made me a mommy turned three last week. THREE. In the weeks before I found myself frequenting my memories from that point 3 years ago. Oh, I was so ready. I was large and in charge and ready to hold this sweet baby. I was ready to see him and, oh my goodness, was I ready to love him and love on. Him And I still feel that way. Every single morning. {even more so on the mornings that he sleeps in past 6:30.ahem.}. As much as he loves being at home w...
