The Zoo at Franklin. Many pieces of my early collection of animal sculptures were displayed at the Franklin Park Children’s Zoo in Boston and at the Beardsley Zoo in Connecticut in 2001 and 2002. The Beardsley, Josiah, who founded this Connecticut zoo was an ancient relative of Bob’s. He must have liked animals too. see and read more. Students at Morse Pond School. In 2002 an anonymous donor provided funding for sixth graders at Morse Pond School to create sculpture for their school courtyard. I was asked to be the artist-in-charge. 12 kids were selected by their art teachers to be on the sculpture team. They brimmed with talent and enthusiasm! See and read more. See and read more.

PIECES AVAILABLE FOR SALE:. The studio-barn holds an accumulation of these found pieces, spread out so I can pick what I want as I create a sculpture. The shape of these pieces will often suggest what it is meant to become, while other times I start out with an idea and then find the pieces that satisfy the intent. In this way, creating a piece becomes an interplay between my mental images and the scrap pile.

Art in The Park. Art in the Park. Thanks to the amazing work of Falmouth artist Sue Beardsley, the Falmouth Dog Park now boasts some wonderful artwork. Sue created a miniature dog park out of recycled metal. She created all these pieces at home in her workshop and assembled them as a wonderful enclosed miniature park.
