Monday, April 13, 2009. Monday, April 13- Portimao, Portugal. We are anchored off the coast of Portimao, Portugal, part of the Algarve—“garden area of Portugal.” Portimao is a bustling fishing port perched right on the beach. Its coastline stretches 100 miles, with pretty sand beaches and promontories jutting out into the ocean. Saturday, April 18, 2009. Saturday, April 18- Monaco. I told Ray that he was looking for a place to live with no taxes—here we are! The city is very clean, not a bit of graffiti or trash to be found anywhere. The streets are perfectly groomed, and there are lush gardens and chic boutiques everywhere—Chopard, Chanel, Rolex. Friday, April 10, 2009. Friday, April 10- Land Ahoy, for a few minutes anyway. Ray woke us up at 8 this morning to start getting our body clocks adjusted to the new time changes. Aarghhh! I think I could’ve slept til noon. Catamarran anchored off shore and made for nice pictures with lighthouse in background. At least we SAW land today even if we couldn’t step onto it. Short nap then up to Lido to eat a light lunch—see, I told you—all we do is sleep and eat! Picture of Santa Marie, Azores.

My little sister Nancy is arriving in Hong Kong on Christmas Eve to visit for the holiday. Sunday, December 19, 2010. We stayed at Patong, but traveled all over Phuket and to parts of Phang Nga.
