It’s been so long since I wrote a blog, and so much has happened. So this is a warning that it is a long post- stop reading now if you have more interesting things to do! Hud, the other meal of ramadam, at 5 am, is not so fun. Ours consisted of bleary eyed, forced munching before falling back into bed for a few more hours. But in Wolof you just say ‘mai man ndoh’ (give me water). Now we’re used to it, it seems normal! Half of us woke up early to go back to the waterfall to see if we could find the chimps...

It’s been far too long since my last blog post- nearly 2 months in fact- so so much has happened since then. I guess the best thing to do is to just pick up where I left off! We were in Kaolack just long enough to buy some tinsel from the dizzyingly huge market and sample the benefits of having WiFi, a laptop and Netflix at home, with an episode of desperate housewives, before setting off again early the next morning. Pour yombal yon bi! Thankfully, this week the strike has finally ended, well suspended. Just in time for our trip to the Gambia! On Friday we will be leaving Ziguinchor to meet our twin English club in Serrekunda, for the weekend. I’m not quite sure what to expect, word on the street is a picnic and clubbing! Ps the title means ‘to make the road easier’, and it’s what’s we said during our fundraising trips! This entry was posted in Uncategorized. May 7, 2015. Tooti tooky (a little travelling) →.

Project Trust Volunteer Teacher in Thailand for 12months. July 30, 2014. Ok so a little about Nakhon Sawan:. It is a provincial capital full of hustle, bustle, and much more besides! Here’s a map to show you where I actually am:. Nakhon Sawan is around 4 hours from Bangkok, 8 hours from Chiang Mai and roughly 30 minuets from Uthai Thani, which is where another Project Trust project is based. I cannot wait to get out there, it’s going to be a great year 🙂. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Life in my twenties.

This photo is of me and my friends at the one of the highest points on Coll 🙂. Some photos from my sponsored walk 🙂. More fun times at the beach 🙂. This b...
