Simply Simplicity: Skirt Makeover
http://creativecountrygirl.blogspot.com/2010/12/skirt-makeover.html
Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Someone gave me a really cute skirt, but when I put it on it was just wrong. It was mid calf length and should have been longer or shorter to look right! Hmmmwhat to do to 'fix' the skirt? Inessa needs skirts more than I do so I decided to give it a try. I didn't know if it would work because the side is so flared. Didn't think to take a pic before I cut it up, so I put the pieces back together. This is what it looked like. December 28, 2010 at 9:22 AM. Very cute, Faith!

September 10, 2013. It’s a funny feeling being back here, writing again, on this long forsaken internet island. It feels strange, but good as well. Like coming home. I think to un-clog the pipes I need to do a quick rundown of the events of the year so far. David and I spent a weekend on the eastern shore in April. We visited Assateague Island and saw the wild ponies, (should I have been more amazed by them? Birthday movie for a niece in Thailand. It was a lot of work for a few minutes of silliness b...

On Friday I rushed home from work, changed, packed my baby niece into the car, and headed off to meet a bunch of aunts and cousins for lunch. I got to meet Nicole (Rachel’s birth mom) and she was a pleasure, a courageous and brave woman. I didn’t take any pictures that day, and how I wish I would have. Betty, Mom, Barbara. Something Human: Happy Earth Day?

View my complete profile. The Blog of Eden. Stops along the way. Gue (pronounced “goo”). Greshniku - Carla's blog. Thursday, April 22, 2010. I’m not sure if I should be sad or angry when I see Christians bashing Earth Day, purposely wasting plastic bags, or boasting about leaving their lights on. In the first chapters of Genesis, God put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden to care for it. I think that the fact that we’ve stopped caring for the earth is a sign of our fallenness, not our virtue. Sometimes, ...
