Sunday, November 16, 2008. In October, Eben and I flew out to see Emily and her new fiancee Stilian, in their home in Ann Arbor Michigan. We spent a long weekend out there (about 4 days), and really enjoyed it! The Saturday we were there, there was a big game: Michigan State vs. UMichigan. What made it bigger was that State won the game, and they had not won against UM AT UM in like 20 years! Eben and I got to help Emily pick out her wedding dress! Wednesday, January 30, 2008. So, I did my taxes. I'm getting a $2,500 refund this year, yeaa! I didnt even have to have babies! Sunday, January 27, 2008. I know Im almost constantly on a diet, but I think Ive finally found one that is practical enough to stick with it! Back in school again - Im taking a class on Counseling Groups and Counseling Theories. Good times. Work is pretty good. Overall things are pretty fab. Tuesday, October 23, 2007. The battle continues with Mcgee. He is having his second surgery probably next Friday, to remove his remaining eye. He is in pain, I think, so it's for the best. How much is that doggie in the window? This is Gizmo's favorite place to sit. Our apartment is in an old brick building and we have really deep window sills. Perfectly sized for a puppy butt! He will sit there for hours or until someone comes into the house. His favorite part of the day is watching all the kids go to and from school. We are just a street down from the high school so there's a lot for him to look at. He also likes to wake Jason up in the morning and they are so cute! Maybe if I try this.

Party All The Time! This weekend I helped my brother and sister celebrate their birthdays. My brother, Brian, turned the big *30* and my sister, Brenda, turned 26. I think my mom planned it that way so it would be easier on her, less dates to remember. Really it was just a coincidence! To the vet we go! We took the kids to the doctor this week. Meeko did not want to go. Between Jason and I, it took 4 tries to get her into the carrier. She's tiny but boy, does she put up a good fight! We both got scratched and covered with cat hair, but we finally succeeded. I think we could have made a whole other cat with the hair she left on us, it just kept coming off! I'm surprised she has any left! We also made an appointment to have Gizmo neutered, only 7 days of manliness left! That kind of day.
