The Whole World Is Sick. This is just a quick update since we haven't posted in a while. A simple math equation. Well, I went to the hospital yesterday. See, I was having a productive day, which can be rare for me. I had finalized the hotel rooms, gotten my car registered(which was a major pain) and I decided that I should make myself a healthy lunch. Tuna fish with celery chunks. Good for me! Thats when the Kennedy in me kicked in. I kinda made tuna fish with celery and me chunks. Barbie wants me to add that I bled everywhere, and she had to clean it up. To the vet we go! We took the kids to the doctor this week. Meeko did not want to go. Between Jason and I, it took 4 tries to get her into the carrier. She's tiny but boy, does she put up a good fight! We both got scratched and covered with cat hair, but we finally succeeded. I think we could have made a whole other cat with the hair she left on us, it just kept coming off! I'm surprised she has any left! We also made an appointment to have Gizmo neutered, only 7 days of manliness left! That kind of day.

I know Im almost constantly on a diet, but I think Ive finally found one that is practical enough to stick with it! Back in school again - Im taking a class on Counseling Groups and Counseling Theories. Good times. Work is pretty good. Overall things are pretty fab. Monday, September 03, 2007. I have always been skeptical of low/no carb diets because of my imagined dependence on carbohydrates and sugar in my life. I swear to god, if I had to pick only one food to subsist on the rest of my life, it would be bread. So, when my coworker suggested the South Beach diet to me a week and a half ago, I figured I would never be able to do it. I am starting to sound like an infomercial, sorry). Today is Monday September 3, and I am 9 pounds lighter! Ill keep ya updated.

I slept in until noon (nice), cleaned the house, did the laundry (brought the doggies with me, it was kind of fun), and was able to breathe.
