So, I've been busy doing other things around my house that I haven't been able to make any soap for a couple weeks now (it's been over a month since my last CP batch, oh no! Friday, August 26, 2011. Spa Tonic Chamomile Bastile Soap. So, I made this soap a couple weeks ago. but ended up hating what the fragrance morphed into and how the swirls turned out. so, I thought it was not going to be worthy of a post. That is until I actually used it! I'm in love with this recipe! So, we'll start off with the recipe- it's called a bastile because it's mainly olive oil but has other oils introduced so it can't be called a castile soap (which is 100% olive oil). Castile with Coconut Milk.

Those little cups o' tea were so cute and while they used CP over there, I used a little bit of my remaining M&P soap to create a different version. What is Soda Firing? Tuesday, July 28, 2015. At Last an Art Fair. Partly I just got spoiled, living in St. Paul, a few hours drive from a score of top-shelf art fairs. It's disheartening to do the same amount of work for the small local festivals and come home with a tenth of the money. And, perhaps most importantly, my van died, and I didn't have the money to replace it. This summer I've been invited to participate in the Designing Women. I still need to build a display!
