The waterfront in Sturgeon Bay comes to life each August as tourists and locals alike stroll the grounds of the Museum's headquarters on Sturgeon Bay's working waterfront during the annual Classic and Wooden Boat Show. S/V Talisman Sailing Charters in Door County. Best of Show Award. We brought Talisman to Sturgeon Bay from Long Island in December 2002. The restoration of Talisman by Starboard Wooden Boatworks. Keith C. Kollberg and Crew) began in October 2003. The vast majority of the boat is the original Talisman. To perform restoration work on Talisman, the 1938 38 foot Rhodes Cutter we had purchased the prior year.
