One hundred sixty-three miles, that’s all we did today. I thought we'd stay on US 93, but the GPS decided that we should take the Sacajawea Historic Trail. The trail was chock full of historic markers, several noted milestone accomplished by Lewis and Clark. We've seen roadside markers about them since Minnesota! Those boys really got around. Sunshine almost always makes me high! Thursday, March 19, 2015. We pulled out of our campsite at Phipps County Park at 0800 on March 17. Motoring north on I 95 at a leisurely 60 mph, we were making decent progress. We passed through Jacksonville with the usual traffic, but no delays. It saved us from washing the boat. When the rain is finished, all the salt should be gone. Well, the boat got a good bath. It rained the rest of the day. We tu...

Sunshine almost always makes me high! Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Florida - Were Back! We have arrived in sunny Florida! Towing Sunshine, the motorboat, was relatively easy. We kept our traveling speed at around 60 mph. We could have gone faster, but we would have burned more fuel. Besides, we liked the relaxed pace and were entertained by the programming we chose on our Sirius radio. We would like to visit my sister and brother-in-law who are RVing in Clermont, near Disney World. I'm not sure how th...

Sunshine almost always makes me high! Saturday, January 28, 2017. Saturday, January 21, 2017. Joining the Women's March! We boarded the 0806 bus to Key West in order to participate in the Women's March. Before the March, we lunched on a Pepper Steak (Seitan) Sandwich. Delicious and even though it's vegan, it tastes like pepper steak! It was an emotional experience, marching while being incredulous at the need to March for women's rights in this day and age. Sunday, January 22, 2017. A Trip to Islamorada!
