First and so far only picture of a dolphin hope we do better later. Stayed at Bay Point for 1.00 ft. very nice place and it includes a continental breakfast and get together. Windsong on Great Loop. Saturday, January 1, 2011. Chicago to Kentucky Lake. As we pull off of Lake Michigan we go under a series of 7 bridges through down town Chicago. These bridges open for one weekend every Spring and Fall to allow larger boats on and off lake,. There has not been an Emergency that has required them to open in 25 years. They are staffed 24 /365 just in case they have one. This and next few shots are of downtown Chicago. These are petroleum pipes going over canal. This one was not bad.

Windsong on Great Loop. Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Say Good by to Mobile. We were planning to take two days to get to Pensacola But with wind and cold I was chilled to bone. Joan could only do short stints at helm. The idea of spending night without AC power did not appeal to us. We headed to the Pensacola Yacht Club. We had taken our Truck there yesterday and ED Helms, a member,. Was going to take it some time in the next few weeks to Ft Myers for us. Yes I am on Gulf and it is cold.
