The Enge Family DINKs. Saturday, February 28, 2009. In the newspaper this month, I found a small blurb that has been bothering me since I read it. Job layoffs began in many industries before the holidays and are continuing. Yet, Hollywood just had its first ever billion dollar January. To me, movie ticket prices are astronomical. It makes me wonder how people are affording to support this surge in business for what I consider an industry that overpays its employees. Posted by Ryan and Kari.

Thursday, February 17, 2011. Just the Beginning of Twenty-Eleven. There's a teenager in the house! Tessa's birthday party was split between bowling one night with Miranda and Carolyn S and G&G Smith coming for a kabob dinner. Meat, meat, and more meat. Tessa's favorite! Up close and personal with the birthday girl and the presents. A big step for Kaylee - a presentation in front of the class. It was FINALLY her week to be Student Explorer and she was so excited. She's come SO far in just 4 months!

Burgess family joined us! To make clean up easier we moved the table to the living room. Joe made the place cards. Troy bought me flowers! The cooks included: Elaine. Cream of Mushroom Chestnut Soup. Spinach Sweet Potato Salad with a warm bacon vinaigrette. Sausage Apple Cranberry Stuffing (love my crock pot).
