Babbs' Bites: September 2008
http://babbsbites.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 27, 2008. I have seen these on Vicki's Healthy eats and Sinful treats. And then Amy made them from Simple, but delicious. I just needed a reason to make them and today was my nephew's birthday party. They were definitely a HUGE hit. I looked over at one point and my nephew was just shoving them in his mouth one right after the other. Source: Amber's Delectable Delights. 1 pint fresh strawberries. 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened. 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, or to taste.

So at least for the next month I will be back to posting recipes. I wish the cake had a Thanksgiving theme since I am hosting T-day dinner this year for my family. I can't figure out how to...

Simple, but delicious.: November 2008
http://simplebutdelicious.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 27, 2008. Do the Oreo Truffle Shuffle. I made these truffles for the first time last year when the recipe was circulating the internet cooking world and I've never looked back. They are so simple to make and taste like they took hours! This year when I asked what I should bring to my husband's grandmother's house for Thanksgiving I was told potato chips for the evening leftover turkey sandwich meal. Chips? 1 package (3 sleeves) Oreos. 8 oz cream cheese (softened). 3 Melt chocolate in s...

Simple, but delicious.: I'm a slacker.
http://simplebutdelicious.blogspot.com/2009/01/im-slacker.html
Saturday, January 31, 2009. I know its been a while since my last post but I have a good excuse! We recently found out we are expecting a baby in August! So most of my time has been spent napping when I'm not at work. Gah, I love my bed. I promise as soon as I can stand to look at raw meat again, I'll be back with some new recipes. In the meantime, I have a few from the holidays that I haven't blogged about, so stayed tuned. I was also given a blog award by both uncanny from Adventures in my Freezer.

Simple, but delicious.: July 2008
http://simplebutdelicious.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken. I found this recipe on All Recipes. I loved it but it was too spicy for my husband, whose idea of spicy is using black pepper. I will probably try to minimize the spice factor by decreasing the cayenne next time. Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/8 teaspoon onion powder. 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme. 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley. 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves. I flipp...
