Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Baby Blocks for Ben. I haven't been crafting much lately.my sweet little 5.5 month old is keeping me pretty busy (and still waking me up at night! SO I try to squeeze in a project here and there. My nephew Ben celebrated his first birthday earlier this month so I made some baby blocks as a gift for him. One side spells his name (Bennett). One side makes a puzzle. One side has a car or some other transportation-related item. The remaining sides are random papers.

A family friend from Kazakhstan brought traditional Kazak wedding gowns for them! The fabulous and delicious wedding cake! The groom's cake (a tribute to their engagement in Napa Valley) that I didn't get to taste :( The wine bottles are cake! My brother and sister in law! My other sweet godson, the ring bearer! Sunday, October 23, 2011. Not sure why i try! Matt has been working a lot of Sunday mornings and we haven't had a family picture in a LONG time. I figured I would try to get one of just the kids this morning. Not sure why. I guess I just wanted to stress myself out. The first picture wasn't too bad. They all were looking at the camera.somehow I missed that Blake messed up his hair! Since they cooperated so well, I figured I'd try it outside since the background would look a little better.

Since we are having difficulties finding a high speed internet provider that wants to take our $50 a month and offer us service, Bekah has been woefully without the internet now for about 3 weeks. Therefore, I am doing my husbandly duty in taking over this blog site and making it my own. Yes, I have changed the layout template, and it will return to normal as soon as Bek finds her cyber-feet. Sunday, December 06, 2009. A star is born. Jolie sang her first solo in church tonight. She sang in the "big kids" Christmas muscial. She was the only 4 year old in the program. She did a few extra (unnecessary) dance moves before her solo, but I think when she started singing she won the crowd over :) I'm proud and glad it's over! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thursday, April 14, 2011. Well, I was going to do a post about the snow we got about 2 weeks ago.or maybe it was a week ago, but I deleted it because it's old news! The weather here lately has reminded me of our winters in Houston.70 one day 50 the next. I have to remind myself that it's April and not January tho! I had been busy working on a consignment. It was VERY time consuming! It's going on this weekend and so far I've made more than I expected! The boys are SO excited about it! Blake and his bud.

Monday, October 27, 2008. Put one foot in front of the other. Saturday we went to Papa Joe and SAL's house to watch the LSU game. The game was disappointing, but Jonathan had a good time walking with the walker. Uncle Jamie and Aunt Heather gave it to him for his 1st birthday. He was really getting around with it! I've already said this.I think, but she only goes one day a week to a Kid's Day Out. She was SO excited to go to "Blake's school! Matt had off that day and we had big plans.that fell through! When we went to pick Claire up I went to her door to get her. Her teacher called for her, she came running out, passed me up and yelled "DADDY! Cute Glad you are keeping your blog!
