Lookin festive for Valentine's Day so we had to snap some pics. Not sure where the single rose came from, but the kids were digging it. Knox and Ella have such a cute relationship. They mostly love each other and play so good.except on days we try to sleep in:(. Baby got her 1st black eye. She face planted into. Our metal bed frame. She's a bruiser and handled it like a champ. Christmas was great this year. I feel like I was really able to think of the Savior throughout the season and the beautiful gift He is in my life. Truly made Christmas one of the bests yet. Kids are so fun at Christmas. Their excitement is contagious.We made sugar cookies for Santa and to bring to friends. We went to Eliza's for Christmas eve dinner and our nativity play. The Dish: Belize

In Belize we took a boat over to a Key and were going to snorkel in the world's 2nd largest barrier reef. We were excited but it got rainy and cooooold.(like 70s.). So we huddled in this ghetto shack and tried to stay dry. It was crowded with people and our huge stroller but the grilled island food was good and WARM! The kids braved the water. Stealing people's sand toys. A rainy day in Belize is better than being at home! We had a couple sea days before getting back to the US. Angel baby once again.

This may be one of my favorite islands. It's so green and lush and just seems less touristy than the rest. Plus, the people are hilarious and speak some crazy English blend. Buuuut, apparently it was rainy season while we were there. I guess it has to rain to be that green. We headed to the same little French Key we went to last time and waited out the crazy rain for a while. Some of us didn't mind the warm rain storm! Boys waiting out the storm. A little rain doesn't scare her. I'll take her anywhere.

Our first port of call was Cozumel. We've been there lots of times so we just opted to get a taxi to the beach and snorkel for the day. Knox loved the pirates as we got off the ship. Not our boat, but hey we are all in this pic, so it's a win. This was Knox's first time snorkeling. He was pretty nervous at first, but once he got the face in the water/breathing down he loved it. He kept trying to touch all the fish. Baby girl loved the beach! She wanted to roam free. Daddy with the girls! Know Em From WA.

Sunday, July 29, 2012. So there I was, trolling Facebook. Imagine my delight when Marisa from Food in Jars posted about homemade mustard. I happen to have a ginormous stash of mustard seed, both whole and ground. This, of course, is due to my not reading the fine print when I ordered it. I thought I was buying a one-pound bag of each and instead, ended up with several pounds of seed and a couple of pounds of ground mustard. Solution? Make a lot of things that require mustard, of course! 1/2 tsp sea salt.
