FAS Center for Systems Biology
Skip to main content. The FAS Center for Systems Biology is an Interdepartmental initiative. Our overall goal is to combine a variety of experimental and theoretical approaches to find general principles that help to explain the structure, behavior and evolution of cells and organisms. Our faculty and Fellows span a wide range of disciplines, including biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, and engineering. We are the home of the Bauer Fellows Program. The Bauer Core facilities.

COMPUTATIONAL SYSTEMS BIOLOGY |
Skip to Main Content. The Hütt Group at Jacobs University. Characterization of K-Complexes and Slow Wave Activity in a Neural Mass Model. A Network Perspective on Metabolic Inconsistency. Subgraph fluctuations in random graphs. The Hütt group studies correlations in biological systems on very different scales, ranging from genomes to interacting cells. We use methods from nonlinear dynamics and information theory to study the origin of such correlations in terms of biological self-organization.
