12 Movements of Tai Chi Chaun. With torso erect, standing with feet shoulder width apart, arms hanging naturally and palms touching trouser seams with finger slightly apart. Inhale, raise your arms, exhale, push arms forward a little bit expanding your shoulder blades, inhale, and return arms to original position at your sides. Step 1: Sit balanced on a chair with feet firmly on the ground and your hands on the top of your knees, which are about 10”-15” apart (see photo 1). Step 2: Inhale and slowly bend your body with both hands sliding along the outside of your legs and try to touch your shoulders to your knees (see photo 2). Step 3: Exhale. Keep your posture, then inhale deeply and using both hands, grab your toes and at the same time lift your head. (See photo 3).

My name is Carl Braatz, I have been attending Jin Pei classes for more than four years at Villa Park High School. This past week we were doing a type of exercise moving our arms in a propeller fashion. I had torn or pulled a ligament in my shoulder several months prior to this. When I started the exercise motion, my arm hurt. After several rotations, my arm did not hurt. Thanks to my instructor, Wendy, I was able to continue without any pain when I did the rotation. 我記住呂老師的教導 有人來一起練 沒人來自己練 ,所以堅持下去。
