This was a first for the kids and they loved it! We spent the entire day running from the water slides to the water structure to the wave pool to the lazy river. Last weekend, we spent Shabbat in Laguna Woods, with our California and Israeli family. It was, literally, a short but sweet, trip. We left Phoenix late in the afternoon on Thursday and arrived back home late Saturday evening. Why would we plan such a short trip? Here are some of the highlights from our trip:. Gotta love toys that encourage pretend play. I might be a little biased, but we may have some pretty talented LEGO builders. I am not sure that I would be able to create such a detailed and well thought out LEGO Ship for my favorite superheroes. Aiden's "Ship" He constructed it all on his own; no assistance! Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Happy Birthday Evelyn Belle Mitchen. Where did this year go? We had her 1st b-day party on Saturday (pics to come). It was a blast and she was absolutely adorable. She had her 12 month check-up today. All is well except for her heart murmur and anemia. Nothing we can do about the murmur and just have to start giving her a multi-vitamin w/ iron for the anemia. I found the recipe randomly while searching for ideas of what to make with spinach fettuccine. This little pasta dish is full of flavour and vegetarian to boot. 1 tbsp olive oil. 1 med yellow onion. 1 (4-ounce) can of artichoke hearts, drained and halved. 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped. 1 tsp lemon juice.
