Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Tomorrow is September already! School starts tomorrow. I was a little in denial until last nights school potluck and that got me excited about the year ahead. Lachlan's school program Visions is going to be doing some really fun things so it's something to look forward too. Cohen starts kindergarten in 1 week. He is so so excited! I'm looking forward to working in the kids' class one day a week. I think he will also loose his first tooth this month. A lot of firsts for him!

Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Both Lachlan and Cohen are in school now. They are so so happy to be there! Cohen is thrilled to be in kindergarten, and Lach is happy to be back with his friends and meeting new ones! Mack is enjoying a little time with just me but asks several times every morning where "Lach and Yo" are and when are we picking them up? We've enjoyed doing quite a bit of swinging and reading while the've been at school. Here are some pictures from the first days of school. My big 3rd grader!

Friday, July 25, 2008. Father's Day with the Reed clan. Interesting conversation about hotrods. Sarah, Olive and Clara. And continuing the remodel. Framing perimeter walls and windows. Patching the hole in the kitchen where the chimney used to be. And of course, making new holes where we can. We finally got a furnace just in time for summer! It sure was a cold winter, but at least we will be warm this summer! We also had a new central vaccuum system installed. you can see that in this picture also.

Saturday, September 27, 2008. Happy Birthday Mom and Me! Just 27 years ago, Mom took me home on her birthday. She got a little teary-eyed thinking about all the years gone by. We celebrated our special days with a BLT&A,. A fried green tomato stack, and caramel bread pudding for lunch. Since that wasn't enough, we had coffee and dessert at. The Cheesecake Factory later that afternoon! The next night, my real birthday, the Pipgras family threw. Me a birthday dinner complete with cake and presents!

Saturday, January 16, 2010. Oops "i didn't post for half a year" post. Well, that was not so well done of me! But since i am about to embark on a new journey and a new life in the "land down under".yes, i am moving to australia{! I figure i should start posting now during my last few weeks stateside. Tonight was my last night on the midnight shift at UPS.i am so lucky to have met and befriended so many wonderful and funny and caring people over the past year and a half! Friday, July 25, 2008. We finally got a furnace just in time for summer! It sure was a cold winter, but at least we will be warm this summer! Sarah's brother put this new gas furnace in, along with all new ductwork. It was actually done around the beginning of April, and since we had a long, cold spring, we have really enjoyed it!
