Here's 8 reasons I love my Derek:. 1 His spontaneity in some of the things he says. 2 How he keeps growing older without looking much older. 3 His entrepreneurial spirit, following his daddy's footsteps. 4 The way he loves everyone unconditionally. 5 His huge personality. The Romney Train

With Miles, Bonnie, Maximilian and Beatrice. Posted by Romney at 10:32 PM. Somehow we started a tradition of celebrating the 6 month mark for the kids. Can you believe Bea is that old? Anyway, we don't do much. I make cupcakes and the lucky little tyke gets to lick some frosting. So, Bea's first taste of people food is buttercream frosting. I guess that gets me Parent of the Week award. Unfortunately, Miles wasn't here to celebrate this one. Posted by Romney at 10:21 PM. Posted by Romney at 10:09 PM.

The Romney Train: Chicago
http://romneytrain.blogspot.com/2009/08/chicago.html
With Miles, Bonnie, Maximilian and Beatrice. Posted by Romney at 9:39 PM. Our summer trip this year was to Chicago to be at the Loeb family reunion. We don't like to say that, though, because it's not some boring get together. These people rock and we always have a great time. We toured Oak Park (Frank Lloyd Wright architecture), ate at Hot Doug's, saw the fireworks over Lake Michigan and spent some time downtown. The house in Oak Park I want to own:. Thanks for all the fabulous hospitality, Kit!

Thursday, March 17, 2011. Happy Saint Patrick's Day! We had a yummy naturally green dinner tonight. Salad with only green vegetables, baby bok choy, green pears, kiwi, and broccoli. It was gone in no time and I had to start cutting more fresh food up for those still desiring more. :) We hope everyone has had a fun and safe St. Patrick's Day! Tuesday, March 15, 2011. The Romney Train: Baby Blessing
http://romneytrain.blogspot.com/2009/08/baby-blessing.html
With Miles, Bonnie, Maximilian and Beatrice. Posted by Romney at 9:23 PM. We blessed Bea a while ago. It was great to share it with so much family. I decided I wanted to sew an heirloom dress for the occasion and with help from my dear sisters, I was able to complete the project just in time. Now I know why heirloom outfits cost hundreds of dollars. I'm glad I did it, but I'm not sure I'd do it again. This is her cousin Owen who was born two weeks after she was:. The dress and bonnet:. Are you kidding me?

Friday, August 26, 2011. Ah, for crying out loud! I never posted for Derek's 9th birthday and now it's already Kaleb's 12th! So, I'll post about Derek's 9th first. The big birthday day was the 9th of July when Derek was able to invite a small number of friends to a pool party at Avila Hot Springs. It was so much fun! The kids all had a blast! They even loved the cake despite the fact that the snack bar smashed the cake on accident. What's a party without one thing just not working out right, right? Sandy...
