Also the mama that's been helping me out a lot is coming next week as my counterpart to learn about how we can effectively work together to get stuff done. Should be a good time.

Monday, November 12, 2012. Site Announcement. I'm in Dodoma! In the meantime I'm enjoying electricity, internet, and American cable TV courtesy of some Italians that own a compound in my shadow host's village. Great break from village life. Hopefully I won't get too comfortable. I even at ice cream today! That exists in the middle of the desert? Friday, September 28, 2012. The time has finally come for me to say goodbye to my family and begin my journey in Tanzania. I'll be flying out to Philadelphia today, spend the weekend with friends and then begin my Peace Corps experience at staging on Monday. Guess even I can make a comeback. Where has the time gone? We also discovered homemade ice cream and experimented with lots of new flavors. In the Nord kitchen. Friday, August 10, 2012. We have been having fun this summer in the Nord Kitchen. Potatoes sauted with onions, fennel and kale. Our oldest daughter is working as part of the harvest crew at Siena Farms. We eat what we get. Our own tomatoes have begun to ripen so those are now added to the mix.
