Bates Family: November 2010
http://atozbates.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 6, 2010. To start off we painted everything in a creamy Eggshell color. After that we taped off the accent wall and painted it with the green. I call this Hello Green! Because when I walked in the room after painting that color, that's what I said. Once the green was dry I taped the stripes. After taping the stripes I did another light coat of green to help prevent the orange from bleeding through the tape. This would help give us a more sharp line with the stripes. They even had the r...

A Crazy Little Thing Called Love: For this child I prayed...
http://kranspugh.blogspot.com/2015/03/for-this-child-i-prayed.html
A Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Monday, March 30, 2015. For this child I prayed. Life is a roller-coaster (see previous post). So why did I end up on bed rest? Obviously I wasn't finished. We were so excited to be pregnant, we announced early-at 11 weeks. There is always a risk to announcing a pregnancy without getting into the 2nd trimester. What if there is a miscarriage? I felt that if something went wrong, I would likely need support and understanding. 1 Samuel 1:27 reads: 'I prayed for this child ...

Crane [kreyn]: August 2011
http://whitandcam.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
While we try to teach our children all about life, Our children teach us what life is all about. Tuesday, August 16, 2011. I took myself on a date last weekend. I went to see the most amazing, all powerful, singing god - Josh Groban. To say I love this man is almost a mockery of how much I truly love the musical-ness of him. So I went bymyself to his concert and although my camera was dead I managed to slip in a few pics. Enjoy. Sigh) What an awesome date. Thursday, August 11, 2011. A) Not too much to say.

Life is about learning to dance in the rain...: Body Language...Whaaaa???
http://genuinelytandy.blogspot.com/2014/01/body-languagewhaaaa.html
Life is about learning to dance in the rain. Either we decide to stand still, never changing and get wet. or we decide to move, and learn from the situation what we will. Saturday, January 25, 2014. I've always been fascinated by the idea that body language speaks the words we are too afraid of saying out loud. I recently went to a body language class. Granted, it was only an hour, but it was super interesting. I'm excited to delve into this a little further as time goes on. Those stats speak volumes.

Bates Family: Halloween 2010
http://atozbates.blogspot.com/2010/11/halloween-2010.html
Saturday, November 6, 2010. We had a super fun Halloween weekend! Saturday morning we got up and decided to take the kids to Gardner Village to see the witches. We were early enough that we beat the crowds that swarm the day before Halloween. It was a great way to start the day! The Ducks are our Favorite Part! Dancing With the Witches. We had a wonderful lunch at Archibald's. I love that place! That night we got the kids dressed up for the tricks and treats. (Ok, it was mostly treats! Love that is not m...

Bates Family: February 2010
http://atozbates.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. One thing that Aaron and I have been very grateful for is Zack's love of books and reading. A great joy we have is that Lexi is following in his footsteps. We are very frequently asked to read to her, and she likes to sit in the "Lexi sized" chair and read her books. She's cute, huh? Another great thing to see is Zack reading to her. I really hope that we can foster this love to last their lifetimes! Posted by Bates Family. Labels: Learning new things. Posted by Bates Family.

A Crazy Little Thing Called Love: October 2010
http://kranspugh.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
A Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Thursday, October 21, 2010. Scott was offered positions in NM and in ND. After a lot of prayer and soul searching Scott and I will be moving to New Mexico to a little town called Truth or Consequences (T or C for short). It sounds like something out of a Clint Eastwood movie! I haven't been able to find a job in the area, but hopefully something will open up! We are excited for the new change in our lives! We drove MOST of the time, but we did stop at Mount Rushmore.

Bates Family: Going to see the fishies!
http://atozbates.blogspot.com/2011/01/going-to-see-fishies.html
Saturday, January 22, 2011. Going to see the fishies! We have a lovely little aquarium that we loooooove to visit. But somehow we always manage to make it there without the camera. I remembered it today! This is the most active we've seen the octopus. Checking out the upside down jellyfish. Something about the tentacles. Look at that face! She pulled her hands out of the water at the last minute. Too sweet for words! Does a seahorse neigh? I just loved the flower on this sea slug's shell.

Bates Family: Art Time!
http://atozbates.blogspot.com/2010/08/art-time.html
Friday, August 13, 2010. One of the things that used to bum me out was that Zack didn't like to color. He didn't care for it for longer than about 30 seconds of scribbling. Now that he's learning to write, he's more interested in drawing. Lexi, on the other hand, loooooves to color. Should know better than to leave a box of crayons on the table. Do you think she's trying to help me with my redecorating? Posted by Bates Family. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Love that is not madness is not love.
