Sunday, September 23, 2007. Au revoir, Paris! This will be our last post from Paris. We are waiting to meet our landlady to turn over the key and the apartment as I write this, so it will be quick. Next up: Loire Valley. We're heading to the airport within the hour to pick up and rental car and then to head south. Thursday, September 20, 2007. The Eiffel Tower at Last. The crowds were out in full force but we were still able to maneuver through them and visit all 3 levels of the tower. We spent the most time at the top where we got to watch the sunset over the city. The night was exceptionally clear and not too windy, so it was fun to look out and spot the different buildings and streets we've visited over the past couple weeks. Posted by Christine and Lawrence. Friday, September 21, 2007. From Auguste Rodin to J.P. Hevin (and Souffles). I've eaten a lot of chocolate in my lifetime and this is definitely one of the best. And the green apple macaroon is hands down the best we've had so far! I will miss this place dearly when we leave Paris.
