I'm doing some summer courses to finish my academic qualifications to teach Resource and one of my courses requires that I conduct research interviews with Early Childhood Educators who have had experience working with students with Autism. Is there anyone here who would be willing to submit to a half-hour interview via either Skype or Ventrillo (or iChat if they're Mac-friendly :-D)? July 20th, 2010 07:40 pm (UTC). Having just finished my degree in December, I've been subbing since the beginning of April, for a school district small enough that all sub calls are made the old-fashioned way, by a single person at the District Office. Reading Suggestions - Special Education Teachers
http://teaching-sp-ed.livejournal.com/191344.html
I want to be a special ed teacher but my life hit a couple bumps in the past few years so my education has been put on hold. While I'm putting my life back together, I'd like to continue learning about the art of teaching. What are some good books to read? What subjects would be good for me to look into? Any suggestions would be appreciated! January 9th, 2010 06:09 am (UTC). Torey Hayden's non-fiction books are great if you want to learn about what it's like in a special-day class.
