The Trials, Tribulations, and Triumphs of a Teacher in Atlanta. Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Pick Your Battles or Go Crazy. Only Two Options. If I were teaching a class on my experience as a teacher to teachers I would entitle day 1: “Pick Your Battles.” Actually, no. Day 1 would be “Are You SUuuuuuRRE? Teaching as best as I can, while still getting some gamer time in. My wife and I are avid nerds who also happen to love education. My perspective is, if it is a tool that can give an example and help a student learn, then it is a tool I will use for teaching. I have used games in the past to help students reach an understanding of a subject and this website will hopefully be dedicated to that process. Or something else entirely, I haven't decided yet.
