Today at school, an assistant of Arne Duncan came to a round table made up of teachers at Gage. The conversation centered on the recent firings at work. And my reply…”Well, Art I, if you still need it for graduation. I think the electives are gone. But thanks.”. Or leave a trackback: Trackback URL. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Create a fr...

The personal and the public in art. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; this other thing. June 25, 2013. Leaving my position with Chicago Public Schools will not translate easily into reflections typed on a smart phone, while a broken armed three year old changes positions of his legs next to me, on me, pushing me every few seconds. But an attempt needs to be made as my anxiety mounts, reality sets in, and the final chance to organize my teaching space and say goodbyes faces me tomorrow.

Teaching While Imperfect | You thought there was some other way?
You thought there was some other way? By Teaching While Imperfect. I recently had one of those long nights that teachers know all too well.
