http://thegradethreejamboree.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 29, 2012. To Do List Linky Party! I found this linky party that I feel just helps everyone! As a new teacher, I am always finding myself asking more experienced teachers for advice or helpful tips. By reading other teacher's to do lists, I keep getting reminded of something else I need to do! By the way, I have had to prioritize my list in order to sleep at night! Create daily schedule cards for whiteboard. Create library basket labels. Level and sticker new library books. I do not have a lo...

Being Elementary in Middle School: August 2012
http://beingelementaryinmiddleschool.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Being Elementary in Middle School. Friday, August 10, 2012. But today was the BEST! We had technology professional development. And that's what I want to talk about today: technology in the classroom. We had 4 different sessions today: Smart Board, Moodle, CPS clickers, and digital media (ie. United Streaming). The digital media session was mostly to tell us the changes in the districts stance on movies and media in the classroom and what our options were. So here is my question for you all: What kind of...

Miller's Science Space: Back to school!
http://cmillerscience.blogspot.com/2014/08/back-to-school.html
Friday, August 22, 2014. So one more day to get my classroom all ready. I have been working hard to get it just right this year. I am only implementing a few new things and tweaking the rest of the ones I have already done in the past. I have a great team of teachers with me this year, and I cannot be happier about how it has gone so far. We got to see Manny Scott, one of the original Freedom Writers at Convocation, and it was inspiring. We are the salt that gets kids thirsty to learn! Have a great day!

Monday, July 29, 2013. Monday Made It- Mr. G and the Book Totes. Mr G and the Book Totes, wouldn't that be a sweet band name? This year I will be using the Daily 5 and be departmentalized for the first time in my teaching career. Along with Daily 5, I really wanted to use book boxes for my students to have everything they need. Though I do not have the space for 40 boxes in my classroom and needed an alternative. So I went with book totes! Check out what I made below. Each bag will contain:. To share som...
