Thursday, August 29, 2013. First Day of School 2013. This year, the first day of school was a first of a lot of things for us. Brylie started 1st grade! This was definitely more difficult for me than for him. He has been looking forward to this for a long time! He has a brand new teacher out of school and he is in the PM class so he can come home with his sister. He, like Brylie, will do just fine in school! He already reads very well and can count like a champ and is even doing math. So the wait began.

Wednesday, September 26, 2012. More of What We've Been Up To. In no particular order, here's a hodge-podge of photos and recaps to let you know what we've been up to lo these many months:. We went to Utah right over the Fourth of July for a much needed family vacation and to get a rough idea of homes and neighborhoods for our upcoming move. We were able to take in the Provo Fourth of July Parade:. In August we decided we needed to get to Rocky Mountain National Park before we moved away:. And in the way ...

Wednesday, October 19, 2011. A lot to catch up on. That is an understatement! Between moving into our new home (YEA! And preschool, gymnastics, ballet, and our computer crashing, I have been busy. And I'm a lot lazy so add that into the mix and you understand our lives a lot better. First things first, our house. We have been very busy painting! And that we did. Here's before and after. And I can't figure out how to rotate my photos. We then moved up the stairs and painted the upstairs hallway. This ...

Thursday, May 24, 2012. The way time has past for us. There's nothing I can say to excuse my lack of updating the blog. I have found other things to occupy my time and frankly, I've stopped feeling guilty. I would however like to attempt to fill you in on these last few/several months of our lives as you will find much has changed (and will continue to change, I'm sure). So I'll use pictures with some caption to fill you in on the latest and greatest! Went on a fun family hike in the nearby mountains.

The Gunnell Family: February 2012
http://bradandcassidygunnell.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 28, 2012. So we have been wanting to make a dining room table for a long time now and this particular one because you can make benches to go with it. Well, we did it! Brad was kind enough to let me do most of the work (break the drill bits by the handful, etc). I dare say that if he would have done more of the work, it would have turned out better still. But now I have a little confidence and have caught the fever! I hope to do a few more projects yet! Birthday Land Around Here.
