What Francesca Did: Better Maths
http://teampattisson.blogspot.com/2013/07/better-maths.html
Home education - a diary of our homeschooling experience. Thursday, 25 July 2013. Sebastian still loves his playdough:. Had a lovely time today all sat round the table doing tangrams. Abuelita joined in and Sebastian did his maths app on my phone. And what of the problem I was alluding to in a previous post? I set the girls a Maths challenge, which was to draw this shape without taking their pencil off the paper and without going over any line twice. She had spent ages on the task. 25 July 2013 at 23:20.
What Francesca Did: No, We're Not Having a Summer Break
http://teampattisson.blogspot.com/2013/07/no-were-not-having-summer-break.html
Home education - a diary of our homeschooling experience. Saturday, 27 July 2013. No, We're Not Having a Summer Break. The holidays are here. But not for us. More on that in a moment. Firstly, I would like to point out that I am in favour of the six weeks' holiday for schools. For those staff and children who have packed more than a year's worth of work into 39 weeks, they not only deserve a break, they need. Why then, are my children and I not 'breaking for the summer'? Haven't we worked hard enough?

our life in the north: October 2013
http://ourlifeinthenorth.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Our life in the north. Tuesday, 8 October 2013. This morning we went to our Home Ed group. Four families, including ourselves, have clubbed together to hire a small church hall/room, once a week over the winter. The idea being that we can do group activities and get together whatever the weather. Today we did one of the Crest Star. Science activities, investigating how far cans filled with different things roll. Zooming really close in to see the teeny tiny dots. Monday, 7 October 2013. It has been a ver...

Our life in the north. Monday, 7 October 2013. It has been a very busy summer and and even busier start to our Autumn term. our life in the north: How to Learn Math
http://ourlifeinthenorth.blogspot.com/2013/08/how-to-learn-math.html
Our life in the north. Wednesday, 21 August 2013. How to Learn Math. I have been raving enthusiastically about this. Course currently being offered by stanfordonline and it was suggested today that I blog my experiences. Duh! It has been so long since I blogged that I had forgotten all about it! Why will you wait? I passed no comments at all about their answers but simply wrote them on the board and said "Well I think we are going to have to work this out because I don't think all of the answers could be...
Dancing In The Mud: December 2014
http://dancinginthemud.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Dancing In The Mud. A home educating life. Why and how we home educate. Wednesday, 17 December 2014. Christmas craft and beach. Harry finished sewing his Christmas tree decoration this morning. He likes this type of pre-punched sewing kit. Peter made a cut-out window decoration and a Lego/jam jar snowstorm. Harry did this a few weeks ago and Peter wanted to make a matching one. The glue-gun glue in Harry's had unstuck too so we used superglue this time on the jar lids. Tuesday, 16 December 2014. We also ...

http://dancinginthemud.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Dancing In The Mud. A home educating life. Why and how we home educate. Saturday, 31 May 2014. Day in the garden. It has been a lovely and productive day around home. Peter and I went to the allotment this morning to plant our seedlings in the beds. We put sweetcorn, squash and courgettes in and realised we have quite a lot of weeding to do this week! Stuart and Harry cut the grass at home and there was slide and ball play. Followed by water gun play with Daddy, of course, as the target! We walked over t...
Dancing In The Mud: June 2014
http://dancinginthemud.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Dancing In The Mud. A home educating life. Why and how we home educate. Sunday, 29 June 2014. Great Fire of London workshop. We had a look at a map and some paintings of London at the time of the fire. We discussed the architecture of the time and how that contributed to the spread of the fire: streets close together and overhanging jetties. We really enjoyed the workshop. Peter spent most of it cutting up an old magazine and making pictures with it, so he was happy! Wednesday, 25 June 2014. Harry was en...

Team Paul Hamburg City - established 2002
Established in year 2002 this was the place of the TeamPaul Community and the TP BF'42 server. After more than 3 years on Bf'42 and growing lack of interest we decided to end the chapter Battlefield 1942 within the TeamPaul Community in 2006. After the good times on Battlefield 1942 are long gone and most of the Bf'42 fans moved forward to other thrilling games we closed down this page.
