http://shels4tnt.blogspot.com/2007/07/so-im-staying-in-texas.html
So I'm Staying in Texas. Alright. I guess that $4400 wasn't a realistic fundraising goal for me. So, I'm switching it up. Instead of traveling to CA for the Triathlon at Pacific Grove, I'm going to be competing in the Dave Scott Texas Man Tri. in Dallas. So, for those of you who have already donated, THANK YOU! And don't worry I'm still competing). For those of you who have been putting it off. I STILL NEED YOUR HELP. My new goal is $2400. And I need $600 (total) by July 10th. So far, I have raised $440.

http://shels4tnt.blogspot.com/2007/06/need-to-reach-that-goal.html
Need to reach that goal. Ok, so maybe I gave you the wrong idea with my first post! A few days ago, in my post, I said this:. Now I know that I don't have a lot of "extra" money (who does? To donate to any of these research organizations.". Well when I said "who does", I wasn't talking about you :) Here's why:. How serious is blood cancer? Team In Training History. The team of 38 runners raised $322,000 for the Society's Westchester/Hudson Valley Chapter. Because of the pioneering efforts of Cleland ...

http://teammuegge.blogspot.com/2007/06/hello-from-sweaty-palms-of-runner.html
Tuesday, June 19, 2007. Hello from the sweaty palms of a runner. Have you ever noticed that when you run, and I mean really run, you sweat from everywhere? Maybe it's just me, but when I get back from a fast run on a hot day, I'm just soaked. Well, it's from these sweaty hands that I now send you greetings and share with you why I have decided to add another, and very important, activity to my busy life. What do I mean? And support me as I run. And, by helping me, you're helping end leukemia and lymphoma...

Shels' TNT progress: July 2007
http://shels4tnt.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
I finally bought my road bike! It's amazing how much easier the rides are. Saturday we had a 'mini brick'. Rode for 1 hour, then ran for 20 min. That run was a lot harder than I wanted it to be. My legs were so tired after the ride! I'm gettin stronger, though. Swimming is coming along too. Exactly 2 months until the race! So I'm Staying in Texas. Alright. I guess that $4400 wasn't a realistic fundraising goal for me. So, for those of you who have already donated, THANK YOU! So far, I have raised $440.

TEAM MAGMA: March 2007
http://danmccarron.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 12, 2007. Pain, Agony, Glory. THEN, yesterday, Bret and I rode out the Trinity River trail to Benbrook to meet the cycling team, rode the cycling course, and then rode back home on the trail. Total trip: 55 miles. THEN we went for a run. This is getting a little insane. Love it. The worst part of cycling 55 miles is in the neck and shoulders. I've got a permanent shrug going on. 20 days till the race.
