We were talking Christmas shopping, and I mentioned to him that my sister-in-law (aka: his wife) had told me that she was running out of her M A C. Viva Glam V. Lipstick that I gave her last year. I know she loves the color (who wouldn't? Daily lip color for all women) so I told him he might want to get it for her stocking. He asked how much it costs. I said, "Fourteen dollars." He said, "What the @%#$ %#? I'm not paying that much.".

So at the De Young Museum gala last weekend, I received a goody bag stuffed full of nothing, really.a couple of gift certificates I won't use (one's for a maid service and one's for carpet cleaning), a mini-bottle of vodka, a business card case, and a Macy's gift card. It's only recently that I've started wandering up there on a Saturday morning, and it's a little slice of sophisticated French heaven. (Run by real French people, authenticity always helps). November 23, 2014 · 10:09 pm. Usually leaf-filled gutters are the only thing that gets me up on my roof in the fall, but today two US Air Force F-15 fighter jets were my motivation. The aircraft were part of the pre-football game ceremonies at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts home of the NFL’s New England Patriots. I learned that if I want better images from any future stadium flyovers, I better situate myself a bit closer to the stadium or purchase a more powerful camera lens. Not a lot of fun!
