Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Clearwater County Fair 2011, Take 1. We made it through another fair week! I say this because Jacob and I love the fair and Scott really doesn't mind missing it! But we get through it and actually have some fun while we're at it! This year was Jacob's third year showing pigs! We took five total: three gilts and two barrows; Mamma. Mia, Bernadette, Duke, Daisy, and Raj. Jacob did excellent! He was very focused and extra enthusiastic! The pictures below are courtesy of Amy Rankin!

Sunday, November 7, 2010. Pumpkin Carving and Tubes. I hope this fall has been treating you well! We had a miserable September, but October has made up for it with gorgeous fall days including a few reaching 80 degrees! October has also been dry which means Scott has gotten field work done beyond what they can usually crunch in before the weather gets bad! It's been quite enjoyable! Jacob has been keeping us on our toes since we've moved! I pwetend I sleeping! It was pretty neat and I was kind of proud!

Tuesday, March 29, 2011. How are you all doing? We're welcoming the little bit of spring that we have been experiencing and are anxious for more! The weather hasn't warmed up to what I would like, but it's not below zero so I will count that as a blessing! Calving season has been in full swing for Scott! It's been going well so far, knock on wood! I believe he's around 3/4 of the way done and has only been calving for about 2 1/2 weeks! The fundraiser, in case you didn't hear, was a HUGE success!

Monday, January 25, 2010. I hope everybody is enjoying some lovely winter weather! A bit of an update:. Jacob is having a great time at daycare lately! Besides one biting incident recently and a spitting episode, he's doing great! He's accomplished having completely dry pants during the day now for around two weeks! Thursday, August 26, 2010. I have some long overdue pictures to post from this summer! In June, Grandpa and Grandma Rankin, Aunt Janet, Uncle Dan, and Uncle Darrell all made their way to Duluth for a short weekend vacation. May 28th we loaded up and headed to Fargo for Stepanie's Wedding, Family and Friends! Matthew and Daniel were very excited to have a job to do!
