For the month of January, I needed 590 kW hr for heating, which translates into a average continuous power of 820 W and a cost of $59/month. Given that $300 monthly heating bills are not uncommon in Port Townsend, this is a good result! The important number to note in evaluating the performance of the house is the kW hr for heating, not the $ cost. So is the ERV performing?

Floating Home Arrives at Lake Union. On April 25, 2012. In early February the activity in the Portof Port Townsend picked up as Monroe House Movers prepared to move. The 400,000 pound floating home built by Little and Little Construction. The home made it across the Larry Scott Trail, but the process was delayed overnight. The photovoltaic system has been in operation for a year as of 7/6/12, so here are a few relevant numbers. In case you want to skip the numbers and graphs, we're doing great! 6655 kWh were purchased from Puget Sound Energy. 3512 kWh were produced by the PV array. 2322 kWh were put back into the grid. 1190 kWh produced by the PV array were used on site.
