My thoughts on the craft of Testing. Friday, July 17, 2009. Counter to "No Spec=Waste of Time". What’s a QA team without a spec? A goddamned nuisance and a waste of time, that’s what. The author rants about Elder Games' Asheron’s Call 2 (an MMO) defect issues more than anything else. The author's opening sentence points to his emotional bias in the succeeding thoughts. Pretty powerful emotional stuff there. Distilling his gripes, I find he takes issue with:. 2) Too many severe bugs released to production.

I was both nervous and excited going to my first conference ever. I had a long list of things I wanted to achieve, that obviously did not fit in 3,5 days of conference. The plan until Sunday morning was to share a cab with Helena. With Iain I had a good chat at the airport waiting for Aleksander. The conference already had a good start for me with that.
